Like many of my fellow Fernie-transplants I moved to Fernie for the snow and as most quintessential ski-bums I worked in hospitality and tourism for most of my early years here in Fernie. Managing and operating  a backcountry cat-skiing lodge with my husband for many of those years, taught me not only the meaning and reward of long hours and hard work but fostered a deep desire in me to make people happy.
